It is state fair season! For this month’s city spotlight, we’re heading to the location of the country’s oldest state fair: Syracuse, N.Y. The first fair took place in 1841, and now nearly 177 years later, it is still a hot ticket.
This year The Great New York State Fair runs from Aug 22 – Sept 3. While the heaping baked potatoes and headline entertainers are well-worth the visit, some of our favorite attractions are on wheels (of course) including antique tractors and 1920’s train cars.
