Signs That Make You Go Hmmmm

|

Wait! Wait! What did that sign say? Most days signs just point us in the right direction but, if you’re lucky, they can be a form of comic relief along the way.

Beware of Falling Coconuts!
If you’re driving just north of Anchorage, be sure to check out Grande Drive. This cliff-hugging road will make you laugh out loud with its funny signage. And don’t forget to bring your camera! In between these silly signs are views of the stunning and beautiful Denali National Park.

You Can’t Duck So Don’t Try
Look up when you head down East Broad Street in Griffin, Georgia. If only all height restriction signs were this clear! I wonder how many trucks have hit that bridge to justify such a prominent sign. (A whole bunch we’re guessing!)

We’re Off to See the Wizard
Follow, follow, follow, follow, follow the yellow brick road. If you’re in Rosedale, Maryland you can follow the Yellow Brick Road and see a Firestone Auto Store, Safelite AutoGlass and so much more. Maybe if you click your heels, you’ll run into the Wonderful Wizard of Rosedale.

Warm Up the Batmobile
We all know Batman relies on Robin but even Robin can fall asleep on long road trips! Good thing there is a sign for the Bat Cave. Exit here. Alfred awaits.

Unfriend that Jaywalker
Put your phone in your pocket and proceed with caution. The city of Hayward is laying down the law when it comes to distracted walking. Don’t you dare check in to this crosswalk. No one likes that.
