Which Football Fans are Scoring at the Pump?

|

Football and gas prices have one thing in common – COMPETITION! We’ve been monitoring gas prices to predict which cities with professional football teams will be at the top of the standings when it comes to gas prices!

The season officially started last night so let’s kick off this friendly competition! Where does your favorite team ranks when gas prices were the only thing on the scoreboard? I’m placing a bet on my favorite team. (Hint: They won the SuperBowl last year!)

And WINNING the gas game is…ARIZONA and NEW ORLEANS!
The average price in Arizona and New Orleans is 2.36 making them the winners in the gas price game. Looks like this game is going into overtime!

Coming is LAST with the highest gas prices is…San Francisco, CALIFORNIA!
Sorry, San Franciscans. Looks like the average price for gas in your area is $3.29. You might need to mine for gold to pay for that gas. Know any 49ers that could help you?

For budget-minded drivers, GasBuddy is the travel and navigation app that is used by more North American drivers to save money on gas than any other. Unlike fuel retailer apps, as well as newer apps focused on fuel savings, GasBuddy covers 150,000+ gas stations in North America, giving drivers 27 ways to save on fuel. That’s why GasBuddy has been downloaded nearly 90 million times – more than any other travel and navigation app focused on gas savings.
