Our data scientist looked through the millions of ratings and reviews submitted by you and found that these gas stations represent where you can enjoy excellent customer service, delicious coffee, a clean restroom, and a perfect pumping experience.

Highlights

• The 5 Star Experience: Forty-two of the stations have perfect 5-star ratings, making them the top pit stops in the United States.
• Top Pit Stop State: Texas! The state has 18 top rated pit stops, 12 of those being Buc-ee’s locations. Texas is followed by Florida (11) and Pennsylvania (5). Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio, South Carolina, Washington, and Wisconsin are all tied with 4 top-rated stations.
• Top Pit Stop Brand: Texas-based Buc-ee’s has the most stations on the list (12), followed by QuikTrip (11), Wawa (6) and Shell (6).
• Southern Charm: The South is the region with the most top-rated gas stations, with more than half (52) of the top 100 gas stations located there! The South is followed by the Midwest (24), the Northeast (13) and the West (11).

GasBuddy’s data science team compiled the findings by examining gas stations in the United States with at least 50 lifetime ratings in the “overall” category in 2018. Gas stations are ranked by their average rating in the “overall” category and secondarily ranked by the number of ratings submitted.
